Sales incentive programs and the ‘gamification’ of workers are not new concepts by any means. However, the logistics behind running incentive campaigns and games can be tedious and as a result most retailers don't run them often. While employees appreciate having the opportunity to win sales contests, they don’t happen with enough frequency or reliability to significantly impact revenues. SparkPlug created an employee reward delivery system that’s intuitive and easy to use so that retailers will want to make it part of their daily sales strategy. The system turns employees into in-store influencers by incentivizing workers to recommend products in the same way that online influencers are incentivized to promote specific brands and products.
