The result is a whole new ecosystem of interoperability tech vendors helping to make the data more usable. These technologies enable data integration, access, and exchange at scale.
As a result, patients have more ownership of their own health records, medical researchers gain access to massive deidentified datasets, and hospitals can bring outside data into an EHR.
